5 AM, a Beautiful Sunrise, and a Family Full of Love! ๐Ÿ๐ŸคŽ

An early Saturday sunrise, three generations traveling together, and a niece's volleyball tournament.

5:00 AM! That's what time we were up this morning!

Why so early? Because we were headed to our niece's volleyball tournament, and we weren't about to miss the opportunity to cheer her on! ๐Ÿ

And we weren't going alone.

We were headed out with my parents, who are her grandparents, because that's what our family does. We show up together, as a family unit.

Yes, 5 AM is early! ๐Ÿ˜‚ But when it comes to supporting our children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, those early mornings are worth it.

And just look at the beautiful sunrise God blessed us with along the way!

Different Generations, One Family

One of the things that makes our family special is that we're multigenerational.

We don't all live under the same roof. We have different homes, busy schedules, and everyday responsibilities. But we make an effort to come together.

Grandparents, parents, children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews โ€” every generation has an important place in our family.

Sometimes we're gathering around the dinner table. Sometimes we're celebrating birthdays or holidays. And sometimes we're up before the sun, traveling together to cheer from the stands.

Because to us, family isn't just about being related. It's about being present.

More Than Just a Volleyball Game

Of course, we're excited to watch our niece play!

We love seeing the younger generation work hard, learn teamwork, build confidence, and enjoy the activities they love. But these days mean more than the final score.

They're about grandparents getting to watch their grandchildren grow. They're about aunts and uncles cheering on their nieces and nephews. They're about sharing the drive, the laughter, the conversations, and the memories along the way.

And most importantly, they're about showing the younger generation that they have a family standing behind them.

These Are the Memories That Matter

Someday, the tournaments will be over. The kids will be grown. And those early mornings will become stories we tell.

But we hope they'll always remember looking into the stands and seeing the people who loved them cheering them on. Not because they won every game. Not because everything went perfectly. But because they mattered enough for us to be there.

So here's to 5 AM alarms, beautiful sunrises, volleyball tournaments, grandparents, grandchildren, and the wonderful gift of spending time together.

We may live in separate homes, but we come together as one family.

Good luck today! We're cheering you on! ๐Ÿโค๏ธ
